Nightclubs, Pubs and Bars

There’s nightlife for every visitor on an Isle of Wight holiday. We’ve picked out a few of our favourite pubs, clubs and bars.

Isle of Wight Pubs

The Lifeboat overlooks the Marina in East Cowes. This comfortable and popular pub has a fantastic restaurant which spills out into the stunning waterfront location. The Wheatsheaf Inn in Newport prides itself in being a traditional British pub and has a long history dating back to the 17th century. The proprietors offer a variety of real ales, lagers, beers, wines and spirits.

The Castle Inn can be found near the high street in Sandown and hosts some of the island’s finest beer and cider festivals.

Isle of Wight Bars

If you’re looking for modern, upmarket bars, the Isle of Wight has plenty to offer. Visit the Blackstreet Bar in Ryde for cocktails, smoothies, shakes and coffee. The bar offers a range of simple and tasty food and the cellar plays host to all kinds of live music.

Wine buffs should try the Top Deck in Yarmouth too. Located in a historic building, original paintings and photos from the island hang on the walls.

Isle of Wight Nightclubs

No matter whether you like 70s disco, goth, rock or dance, you’ll find a club that caters for you. Dance at Colonel Bogey’s on the seafront at Sandown, or party hard at the Qube club in Ryde with over 700 revellers. Temptation in Newport offers five different bars and three different nightclubs over three floors.
