Needles Park can be found along the heritage coastline near Totland. A chairlift from the clifftops to the beach offers spectacular views of the Isle of Wight’s famous Needles Rocks and lighthouse. Families can pay a visit to the Blackgang Chine at Ventnor which boasts 40 acres of Victorian clifftop Gardens and themed areas such as Dinosaurland and Cowboy Town. The park is a fun filled day out for the whole family. Go to the summer arcade in Shanklin for bowling, go karting and adventure golf.
On a rainy day, drop into the Fort Victoria Marine Aquarium where you can see a fascinating array of local marine life, along side variety of tropical specimens. Just off Godshill high street, there is famous model village from the 50s, a great spot for a family stop off.
Colemans Farm near Newport has exciting, action-packed activities for the whole family including tractor driving, a petting farm and play barns.
Geology lovers and budding palaeontologists will want to stop off at Dinosaur Isle, with its museum of fascinating fossils.
